Following the explosion at Aeon Mall Kumamoto, I conducted an inspection of the aging gas equipment. This was a precautionary measure taken after a gas leak was detected in one of the rooms last month. The results were ND for all rooms. Needless to say, I also shut off the main gas valves for the rooms that are currently out of use.
