2）接種群は定期的にウイルス侵入の有無を検査する必要があり、侵入が確認された場合には接種群も淘汰となる。
3）清浄化までに長い期間を有し、海外発生国からの生きた家きんおよび家きん肉の輸入禁止措置がとれなくなることにより、養鶏業の国際的競争力が低下する可能性がある。
4）ウイルスが長期残存し、ヒトに感染する新型ウイルスの出現につながるおそれがある。
したがって、鳥インフルエンザのワクチン使用は国の監視下で行うことになっており、それ以外での使用は違法行為となる。
つまり、1）から 3）は、もっぱらモノ貿易の都合によるものである。豚熱(豚コレラ)もそうだ。そして、4）は、ワクチン接種が両刃の剣である事を如実に表しているといえる。
ウイルスが感染した細胞は、ウイルスが増殖して多量のウイルスが細胞外に出てくるため死滅する。そして、その増殖したウイルスがまた他の細胞に入り込んで増殖するが、これにより、宿主の細胞は次々と死滅してゆく。ウイルスが生き残るための必須条件は、他の個体へ感染させ続けることにある。生存条件が悪化すると変異することで対抗するのだ。
という事は、過度のワクチン信仰は思わぬ結果を生むとは言えまいか。ブレイクスルーで無症状キャリアが増える可能性がある。自然の摂理に従うならば、予防ワクチンよりも治療薬の量産の方が理に適っている方策だと思うのだが。
